After some consideration, I decided to start posting a “Film of the Week” that I find most interesting and useful to study. I’m no professor or professional in the field, but I do get quite a handful of great films to study from my professors. The first short film I decided to post is entitled ‘The Lunch Date.’ The Lunch Date is a great film to examine because of how well Adam Davidson (director & writer) wrote and executed the screenplay.
In this 10 minute film, Davidson has created an unexpected comedy film that focuses on one main character, presents the dramatic need, the main conflict, and how the protagonist overcomes this conflict, as well as, learn from it. It’s an a amazing film. But not to keep you any longer, enjoy the film.
My personal comments will come tomorrow. What are your thoughts?
Nicely done. Love the vintage, noir feel. Her lunch date looks like Wyclef and Charles S. Dutton’s love child!
That is the crunchiest salad I’ve ever heard. But this is a great film.
